Since we began making caramels almost 60 years ago, we’ve had two flavors of caramel: vanilla and chocolate. This year for the first time we’ve perfected a new flavor: coconut almond. We put almond flavoring and shreds of coconut into the caramel while it’s cooking, and when it's cooled we coat it with milk chocolate topped with toasted coconut. It’s going like hot cakes in our abbey gift shop, where customers can sample it. Now we’re sharing the good news with our online friends!
